Teams will be formed from a tryout and are selected at the discretion of the Elite Coaches and will be created based on the player’s overall skills and abilities; both mental and physical. A player’s attitude, work ethic, effort, energy, passion, being coachable and doing extra will be taken into account.

The Paramus United Elite players will possess three basic qualities; Ability, Motivation & Attitude.

• Ability is what you are capable of doing and these players are exceptional physical athletes that have the ability to thrive in the most challenging situations.
• Motivation determines what you do and these players eat, sleep, and breathe soccer. They love, know and have the drive to train and have a need for greater competition and self-mastery.
• Attitude will determine how well you do something and these players have true commitment. They are committed to themselves, the game, their team, and their coach.

Paramus United believes that skill alone does not make a player elite. Playing elite is about commitment and showing up to all practices, speed and agility trainings, meetings and games, it is about practicing when no one is looking, and it is being dependable and reliable. Players on these teams are all about team not just an individual. These players believe that Together Everyone Achieves More.

For the Elite players that continue to grow over time Paramus United will provide a pathway to playing elite level tournaments and higher leagues like EDP and NPL. Our goal is to grow and support our player’s over time. We believe this will lead to high level play in high school while giving our player’s the ability to play college soccer and hopefully professional soccer.
